Fill Joy System Method
Step-by-Step Instructions for Using FillJoy
1. Bring Your Own Container or Take One from the Container Bin - Ensure you have a clean container to fill with your desired product.
2. Weigh your Containers - Place your empty container on the scale.
3. Use the FillJoy RFID SmartTag and hold the RFID tag to the Container. The tare weight information will then transfer to the FillJoy RFID SmartTag.
4. Secure RFID SmartTag to your container using the elastic. The store associate will then scan the RFID smart tag to capture the weight without the need for tape or writing the tare weight on your container!
5. Pay for your product and enjoy your purchase!
Traditional Method
Follow these simple steps to shop sustainably and efficiently:
1. Bring Your Own Container or Take One from the Container Bin - Ensure you have a clean container to fill with your desired product.
2. Add the Tare Weight: Once you arrive, weigh your empty containers using the scales provided. Make sure to write the tare weight on each container using the wax pencils or pens, and marking tape available at the weigh station.
3. Refill: Fill your containers with as much or as little as you like! When you’re ready to check out, bring your containers to the register. We will deduct the tare weight so you only pay for the contents inside.
4. Enjoy: Revel in the joy of having purchased your groceries without any new single-use packaging!
